Advanced B1---B2

I attended this school December 4 - December 15, 2023. What a wonderful experience it was! I love how the teachers adapted to my special situation. Whenever corrections were made, they were done in a very encouraging, supportive way. Learning/improving one's German proficiency here was truly easy and fun. Classes were in small groups, so lots of individual attention was provided. The school location is very near a subway and just across from a shopping centre where take out food is available.

I have nothing bad to say, really. The location of the school was really close and easily reachable. Classes were detailed, with all the materials needed, we were doing a lot of activities, such as listening, exercises, etc. The owners of the school were incredibly kind, helpful, and they are really professionals at what they are doing. I would like to come definitely again.

Nice teachers with adequate lessons, classical language teaching with practical elements.

I was only at the language school for one week, which is a very short time to try to learn anything at all, but I still think it was a useful week at Sprachschule Dr. Lenz. Artemida is an engaging teacher and the classes were interactive and consisted of many different exercises.

The classes were also quite adaptive to the level of each student as we were relatively few students in the class, which gives the teacher more time for each individual. As an example did I sign up for a beginner course through language international, and when I got to the Sprachshule Dr. Lenz I had the choice between an A1 and an A2 course after talking to Dr. Lenz. I got a lot of material on grammar and when I explained what I had problems with I also got more material aimed at that as well as good tips for learning.

The only critique I have is that I would have liked to speak more, but I understand that the entire class cannot be spent talking.

I did not stay I the student housing, so I cannot say anything about that.

My teacher was very engaged. I was the oldest in my class and she took her time
to explain me one to one everything. I learned every day faster because of the good explanations.
And I learned a lot!

I would expect a 5 hour per day intensive course at B1 level. Instead of this i was mixed with people from A1 to B2 in the morning group sessions and during the afternoon we didn't really go on with learning. There was no teaching plan for me. Usually, i was sitting alone and try to solve tasks, but in the second week we rather spoke in English about personal staff.

The teacher was constantly chatting on her phone and didn't dedicate full attention to teaching. For example, listening solutions were not explained, neither in the groups sessions as the teacher texting on her phone during this part. The teacher didn't prepare for the classes. She also shared my opinion, that I would benefit more from my Vienna stay if I only take part in the group sessions.

I was supplied with valuable material, but mostly rules were not explained explicitly to me.
The location and the facility were OK.

I really like the program, being daily und intensive learning.
The programs , way of teaching and the teachers are all very professional,friendly nice and good motivatiors. ( some of them are also foreigners people and for me as a foreign- learning German didn’t sound so difficult und impossible. Seeing them , I thought often, I can also go successfully through this process. The location is also very good .

Location is central therefore very easy to reach. The teacher was well prepared and available.

Ich habe an diesen 5 Wochen vieles dazugelernt, meine Englisch Kenntnisse konnte ich erfrischen und weiterbilden. Abgesehen davon, dass Frau Lenz und Herr Lenz so nett waren, kann ich sagen, dass Frau Lenz eine hervorragende Technik hat beim unterrichten. Das freie Reden wurde uns sehr gut beigebracht und das plaudern fällt mir jetzt extrem einfach dank ihr. Ich habe mich wie zuhause gefühlt an diesen Tagen und kann es jeden nur weiterempfehlen was ich auch tue.

My experience at Sprachschule Dr. Lenz with my teacher Artemida Lenz was really amazing.
It was my first time coming in Viena to study german language and I really felt like home. Dr. Lenz was very supportive from the professional and personal aspect, because she helped us to overpass all our insecurities and motivate us to go further.
The classes were very well organized, in terms of timing and content. We could learn and practice at the same time and this was very helpful thanks to the exercises and communication.
Also, the location is in a strategic position because it's near city center, very well reachable. The classes are full of space and light.
From time to time, Dr. Lenz organized different activities out of school to socialize with other schoolmates and this was very nice because we had the chance to know each other better and practice german.
I would highly recommend to any foreigner who wants to come and study language in Sprachschule Dr. Lenz, because the will feel like home and also very motivated from the fast results and progress they will see after each class.
My language skills has improved very fast and I am very thankful!

The teacher was very well prepared, highly passionate, warm and caring. The facilities are very nice, in a central location easy to access and very close to shopping and other amenities.

I feel privileged and lucky to get such a great school in the heart of Vienna. Excellent way of their teaching methods impressed me. Thanks to my Teacher Artemida Lenz. The staff was helpful whenever I needed their help. I had a very good experience with this school and would recommend it further to anyone who wants to learn or improve their foreign language skills.

I really enjoyed my stay at the accommodation houses that were put to use by the teaching center. It was all very comfortable and friendly environment to live in. The teachers were all very nice and very helpful. The classes were organized in such way that it would make u have fun while learning. There were also a lot of activities and sight seeings which helped us grasp the language even more in a sort of ´´learn by doing´´ method. The whole teaching facility was very well furnished and mobilized with everything a student may need during their stay there. All in all i had a very pleasant experience and now i am very confident about my German skills.

The general school environment is quite welcoming with ready to help people and good facilities in the middle of Vienna.

Classes were always with a good mix of students and mother tongue teachers.

I can highlight the professionalism from lectures. It is so easy to talk to them and they are very helpful. Curriculum is easy to obtain if you follow professors tips and hints. Overall great experience and very beneficial programme. Highly advised.

The location of the school was one of the best i could find in Wien, just a few meters from center. The teaching quality was very good and improved my language skills in a short time . I would highly recommend to everyone this course.

The classes were useful and I did learn a lot. I used to live in Vienna for almost 10 years but what I learned from these classes I didn't get from living there.
The whole experience was a combination between the lessons, very warm environment, being friendly with the students and creating the opportunity to interacting with each other but at the same time not being boring.
I recall I used to go in the classes with big pleasure of being part of that school.
I intend to keep frequenting it for the next level.

The location in one of the main streets of Vienna is very helpful as it can be easily reached by any means of transport.

The location is just superb! Very easy accessible from almost every corner in Vienna. The teachers were excellent! Their teaching techniques are very sofisticated which helps you a lot at the beginning! The combination of theory and practice through the learning process is what really makes a big difference! I am proud to say that I have been a student in this school and very happy that I have made the right choice! My german skills would not have been the sam if I had been somewhere else!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Language International. The environment was especially friendly and growth orientated, the materials we received were very helpful.

The classes started on time, the support for every part of the journey was extremely encouraging and supportive, the practical advice and tips were generously provided. Moreover, the classes are very professional and pitched at a perfect level!

There is nothing I would change! I would wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone thinking about learning German as a foreign language. I really enjoyed it!

My personal experience was literally amazing!
German language isn't easy at all, but I discover that at the right School with the right teachers
it can be simple. The classes were composed from students of difrent countries and I fund it really super.
The location is also great, the school is near the I District, Railway terminal (Westbanhof), subway U3, shops and other facilities.
At most I appreciate the personal tips that Artemida and Wolfgang gave to me, about German language but also Vienna's life.
I can just confirm that my personal experience at Sprachschule Dr. LENZ was Positive!

I completed the course at Sprachschule Dr. Lenz in June 2019.
It really was a tough and demanding course and challenged me.
What struck me at the onset was the awareness of being in an environment of incredible positivity. All of the students really wanted to be there and saw the course as opening doors to the rest of their lives. This attitude of positivity would include the learners like myself and other participants, and the students who were being taught german.
The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and kept us on our toes with the high level of german we had to comprehend.
I think that the standards at Sprachschule Dr. Lenz are very high and that the students who were being taught german were in an environment of understanding and support.

Studying at Sprachschule Dr. Lenz was the best experience I've ever had while learning the German language. The classes were exciting, full of activities, occasional humor, at start were a bit hard but the teacher was always there to help in every single way. There were plenty of examples and exercises to help me understand quickly. Also there was a big diversity in nationalities which gave me extra intellectual information about people worldwide. My teacher "Artemida Lenz" was the reason i feel in love with the German language and Vienna. She is amazing in every aspect. She is always energetic, optimistic, caring, smart, a great teacher and a friend to have. She helped me in my early steps in learning the German language inside and outside class. She always went over and beyond her teaching hours to help me further grasp the basics of the language, by giving me extra exercises, extra motivation and keeping up with my progress during the whole period. Even after obtaining my certificate, she kept in touch to stay up to date with me. The location of the school is in the heart of maria hilfer strasse, we had all the facilities everywhere around us. Grocery stores, shopping places and technological shops were just a step away from the school. There was plenty of activities, we saw a lot of places and met a lot of people outside the school that helped me further out with the language.

In conclusion, it was the best experience for me. It was fun and educational at the same time and i liked every moment of it.
